Remote Analysis Ltd is a Finnish company specialising in remote medical analysis. Presently our company focuses particularly on

- Sleep apnea analysis using polysomnography
- 24-hour EKG –registering (Holter monitoring), used to study arrhythmias
- Ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM)

Currently sleep apnea is a very common disease that affects approximately 3 % of the population in developed countries. Arrhythmias are also very common and cause various symptoms, most of which are fairly harmless but the more serious ones can be perilous. 24-hour blood pressure monitoring allows for blood pressure medication to be optimised.

Our services are targeted for the use of different healthcare units, for example medical centres, health centres, and occupational healthcare facilities. Our customers include dozens of health care organisations throughout Finland. Our company produces healthcare services and we are monitored by the Finnish health care officials. In the private sector all our consultation services are compensated by the Social Insurance Institution of Finland.

Our company’s core competency is to improve the efficiency and process fluency of healthcare by means of modern technology. Our company produces a complete service for our clients; we equip our client with the necessary registration devices and deliver a specialist doctor’s consultation through the Internet. We charge our clients according to the level of usage.

It is our opinion that substantial benefits can be achieved using remote medical analysis. For example, availability of diagnostics is greatly improved when services can be provided in the basic health care units. This is possible by performing parts of the diagnosis process over the Internet.
